We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious, and results-driven outbound sales professional to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our international portfolio of technology-focused events, engaging with IT vendors and enterprise organisations across more than 30 countries.

 

This is a fast-paced, phone-based sales role, so excellent communication skills, confidence in cold calling, and a proactive approach are essential. You will be working remotely, but should be based within easy reach of central London for occasional meetings and events.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
– Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound calls and prospecting
– Sell sponsorship and participation packages for international technology events
– Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and enterprise clients
– Manage the sales process from initial outreach through to closing deals
– Work towards and exceed individual sales targets
– Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline management
 
Requirements
 
– Previous experience in outbound sales, telesales, business development, or a similar client-facing role
– Strong research and prospecting abilities, with excellent attention to detail
– Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
– Confident in cold calling and engaging with senior-level decision-makers
– Self-motivated, proactive, target-driven, and highly organised
– Strong time management and problem-solving skills
– Professional attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve success
– Comfortable working independently and managing workloads in a remote environment
– Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, LinkedIn, and online research tools
– Creative yet analytical in approach, with a strong focus on delivering results
– Previous research or events industry experience is advantageous but not essential
– Additional European language skills such as Dutch, French, German, or Swedish would be a strong advantage
– Based within easy commuting distance of central London
